Matt, your comeback against Auburn has been one of the most exciting State games I've ever seen. This game may have topped it. Great breakdown. Excellent performance by the team. Hail State and Go Dogs!
I agree with an earlier comment. One of the greatest comebacks I remembered before this game was your’s vs Auburn. To eclipse that win State had to hit on all cylinders. Great job!
For all the hating going on in Florida, Mullen brought our school out of a dumpster fire and created much higher expectations for the program, i.e. resulting in hire of an upper tier Coach. Who ironically, has also been criticized while building a program that had been destroyed by Moorehead.
Great analysis as always. Thank you for all the hard work to put this together. At 19:10 you do a great job of showing how Auburn's film study set them up for indecision against the Air Raid. Also, Polk's foot fire, a drill the receivers do every day, got the corner leaning out giving Polk all the space he needed to get inside leverage. I love how our players are really growing into the offense.
I was so intrigued by the comeback, I took out some sticky notes and drew the route concepts, and set each drive next to each other. PURE AIR RAID. Add that to the list of great feats accomplished by mike leach and that offense.
How can Miss. State score 40 unanswerd against a football powerhouse in the SEC. I love it but nobody should tell me that Auburn is a good team this year. After 5/11 in the first quarter Will Rogers got his stuff together and late TD short before halftime opend the gates. Thx for uploading Matt and i miss your shows on youtube.
You and Matt owe me and apology for saying I was crazy for saying mississippi state wouldn't win at least 8 wins I told you two on the show that they will win at lest 8 wins and yall said they would only win 3 I guess I proved yall wrong I know football my cousin Josh Robinson the bowling ball played for state back when they had dak Prescott so I know what I'm talking about
Did anyone notice when Pickering sacked Bo Nix, that Bo, as he laid on the ground looking towards the sideline, put his hands out palms up as if to say "What happened?!"
At least you're not on here showing your backside like others in the comments. I hope the Tiger fans Saturday were as classy as they were in '99 when Mr. Wyatt's team came back late to get the win. I was there and afterwards I didn't hear or see a single Auburn fan being trashy about it. Plenty of "Well done" and "Good game" comments. Sorry I can't say the same about that other school SW of B'ham later in the year when they beat the Bulldogs.
Matt, Coach McKie (high school air raid coach) just did a post with cut ups and analysis on this game. Hits some of the same highlights as you. ruclips.net/video/MDKj_whKW9w/видео.html
Only thing amazing was Auburn thinking a 3 man rush was gonna get pressure on 5 guys blocking, the entire second half, even after having no success all second half. Losing to an inferior team is disgusting.
Uh that's the whole point of the Air Raid you realize that? By all means go coach for Auburn and tell them to line up five, but don't be surprised when Mississippi absolutely exposes you on the screens. Not even a State fan but yall got completely outclassed. You don't beat that offense by rushing the passer, you beat it by utilizing low zone coverage and good safety placement. Your corners and safetys need a bit of awareness and communication to pull this off though
@@deaconlaw6465 I wouldve loved to see them bring 5. Then the ball is in the air longer and deeper. Or shorter like u say. With numbers away from the line of scrimmage as opposed to it. WR running the ball for big yardage.

Matt, I too remember your comeback against AU. Very fond memory and another good breakdown on the game!

I been waiting on this video for 3 days. Saw it was an hour long and grabbed a snack. Fantastic.
A terrific video. Snack is a great idea.
A State team under Mullen would not have been able to overcome a 25 point deficit. Glad now that he left when he did.
Leach's Air Raid is SO AWESOME!

Was at that game and what a game it was!! Great comeback, great win, Hail State and Go Dawgs!!

Thanks Matt, for making us smarter.

Excellent stuff Matt.
Really awesome breakdown. Thanks for putting this together!
The Air Raid is sandlot football? Genius.

As an Auburn fan, this is painful to relive

5 and 5 record the last 10 years. We may score 50 on u next yr. Come see us.
Would have loved to see Auburn try to rush 4 or 5 against that offense. WRs would have been wide open all day and the beat down would have been worse.
@@Michael-ep7lx ridiculous. Wasn't much of a beat down in the first half bud
